Understand what you're working with. Every body is different — this guide provides a framework, not a prescription. Start low, go slow.
Psilocybin affects everyone differently. Body weight, metabolism, recent food intake, mental state, environment, and individual sensitivity all play a role. These ranges are based on dried Psilocybe cubensis fruit bodies.
If you are new to psilocybin, always start at the lowest suggested dose for any given tier and wait at least 90 minutes before considering more. You cannot un-eat a mushroom.
Edible products (chocolates, gummies, honey butter) have pre-measured doses — see the edibles section below for specific guidance.
Dried fruit body weight — standard cubensis genetics
Pre-measured products — no scale needed
Strains in the PE family and certain albino/mutant genetics are significantly more potent than standard cubensis — often 1.5x to 3x stronger by weight.
Reduce your dose by 30–50% compared to the tiers above when working with PE-lineage strains. A 2g dose of Omni or Yeti is not the same as 2g of Golden PE or Slim Shady.
The following strains in our catalog carry PE-level or higher potency:
Your mindset and environment shape the experience more than dose. Choose a safe, comfortable space. Be with people you trust. Set an intention.
Do not combine with SSRIs, MAOIs, lithium, or tramadol. If you take psychiatric medication, consult a knowledgeable practitioner first.
The experience doesn't end when the effects wear off. Journal, rest, hydrate. Give yourself time to process. The real medicine is in the integration.
Psilocybin absorbs best on an empty or light stomach. Eating a heavy meal beforehand can delay onset and reduce intensity. Fast 2–3 hours prior.
Drink water before, during, and after. Psilocybin can be dehydrating. Having water, tea, or electrolytes on hand makes the experience smoother.
Psilocybin builds rapid tolerance. Wait at least 7–14 days between full doses for full effect. Microdosing schedules should include off days.
